Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Lim Marlohe has been a French actress for more than 20 years. Her most famous role is acting as Bondgirl's anti-heroin Severine in Skyfall, the 22nd James Bond Film Skyfall. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. She was a part of the French comedy Un joy n'arrive never alone with Sophie Marceau although not appearing in the credits. In addition, she serves as an ambassador for Omega Watches. Berenice born to French Chinese and Cambodian parents in Paris France May 19, 1979. Her dad is Chinese as is her mother French. She is from a family of middle class with both a Chinese-Cambodian background. Her mother is a former teacher, and her father was an ophthalmologist. As a child in Paris She was obsessed with art. She spent most of her free time painting or playing the piano. She was inspired by the arts and painting, which were her two biggest passions. Jack Waltzer's workshop inspired her professional career. She fell in love with acting and this was a new interest for her. After discovering her passion the art of acting, she spent 10 years at the prestigious Conservatory in Paris. When she graduated from college, she immediately began auditioning for film roles. 2007 was the year she made her first film role came in The Discordance. Early in the career she was unable to secure roles that would help her develop the desired character. The presence of the character in films was influential.
