Dennings was dating Nick Zano from 2011-2014, her co-star in "2 Broke Girls". Following their split Dennings started dating singer Josh Groban. The pair remained in love until 2016. Then, in early 2021, they met the music producer Andrew W.K. In May 2021 they announced that their relationship had begun. Dennings has been a fan of music since 2014, was Dennings's first love. While Dennings grew up Jewish, she has stated that she is more a part of the faith on an ethnic as well as a cultural basis and does not make religion an important part of her lifestyle.
